Full Range of Motion

Full Range of Motion

In class, we always aim for a full range of motion: this means during the postures, you have the possibility to move as far as anatomically possible.

Practicing through a full range of motion leads to greater muscle strength, and you gain strength within the specific range of motion through which you move. This will increase your flexibility and reduce stiffness, and allow for strength at all angles of a joint’s movement.

Does this mean you’ll be able to do all of the postures in class? No. However you are never limited in class to try, and you have so many opportunities to keep practicing into that range.

You do what you can, until you can do more… You are LIMITLESS!
